Satellite & Functions
Satellite is a great place for the teens to come hang out after school and talk to other kids, play video games, connect with the counselors, meet with their sponsors, relax — have fun!
Each weekend, teens participate in an organized function. Past activities have included laser tag, skating, paintball, bowling, parties and picnics. Functions are planned and organized by the Teen Committee. There are also "Guys Only" and "Girls Only" events.
Throughout the year, teens also plan weekend retreats and camp-outs. Teens willing to put in the work and extra effort also participate in the annual three-week wilderness trip, an invaluable part of the recovery process. During the months leading up the trip, the teens also meet for weekly conditioning work-outs to get in shape for their outdoor adventure.
Parents and kids join together several times a year for picnics, parties and an annual Talent Show.
After the weekly meetings, teens meet to hang out and talk.
